The Federal Government has added a sum of N3,000 to its initially proposed N57,000 minimum wage, making it the sum of N60,000 proposed on Tuesday during a meeting of the tripartite committee on minimum wage in Abuja. The Edo Government began the payment of the N70,000 new minimum wage to workers in the state this month in fulfilment of the promise to increase the minimum wage from May, 2024. Gov.
